I took my car here for a routine oil change and after about a week my «Engine pressure low» warning flashed up on my console while driving home.
I’m sitting at home writing this and I’m not bashing the company in any way, but if you treat new business as crappy as I was treated today then I can certainly take my wallet elsewhere. I was in awe that not only was I a new customer and potential new business I am getting pushed back since I am a new customer. I asked if the other customers car was getting an oil change and the employee said yes but «this guy (referring to the other customer) comes here all the time, it will be really quick. I was told the were just pulling his car in real quick. I had already been waiting and asked what was goin on. I came in for an oil change and sat in the lobby for 5 minutes before another customer came in and they pulled his car in before mine. Today was New Year’s Eve and no one would really want to work today I get it but that’s the issue. As a retired franchise owner of Quiznos, I believe I have some experience behind customer service. Less hustle and more hassle.(yes you read that right) Absolutely ridiculous, I have never experienced worse customer service in my entire life. DONT take it to this Grease Monkey unless you don’t mind leaking oil on your driveway/garage! There are so many places to take your car to get an oil change. I ended up writing a letter on their web site on the comments section, explaining what happened and as of this writing, never heard back from them. I took it to the Chevy dealer and they confirmed that nothing was leaking and that oil was spilt probably from the filter. I figured they must have done something to cause it to still leak. The next day, my vehicle was still dripping oil. I commented that maybe if they spill oil, they should clean it up so it doesn’t keep dripping in people’s driveway/garage. They guy said they must have spilt the oil out of the oil filter when they changed it and that was causing the leak. I took it back to them, thinking they did not tighten something.
However, once I got home I noticed my truck dripping oil all over my driveway. Everything went well including them giving my dog (sitting in the back) some treats. First time I ever went here and it will be my last! Brought my Chevy Tahoe in for an oil change. Or go to small claims court and settle for $7,000 or whatever and still not get your car fixed.īecause of this I have lost my job and I'm sure much more is to follow Ima keep this real simple/shortJust moved into the area. After about calling 30 lawyers in the Denver metro area that all charge $250 a hour I see he played me because the only two option you have is pay 5k for a lawyer and end up not getting your car fixed because the lawyer bill is so much. Blah blah blahĪnyways eventually called me back 2 days after it was suppose to be reported to his insurance feeding me some story about how his insurance wouldn't take liability and told me himself to simple take them to court. Finally called the store off a random number Steve himself picks up so I say " hey what's going on" he said there was nothing he could do about it so he would send it off to his insurance. Called him back the next 5 days leaving Messages with other staff members for him to call me. Then went into Grease monkeys and informed Steve Bahl the Manager of the situation. Then later called me back sayin my engain was blown and the estimated bill was 10,795$ to repair all of the damages.
